MINISTERS
Jimmy Adcox, Preaching
Jimmy has served as the preaching minister at Southwest since 1977. He holds a M.A.R. and M.Th. from Harding Graduate School of Religion and recently completed his D.Min. from Abilene Christian University. Jimmy also serves as the team leader for the ministry staff.
Winston Burton, Classic Seniors
Winston has served churches across the south during his 50+ years of ministry. He came to Southwest in 1992 as the senior adults' minister and holds an M.A.R. from Harding Graduate School of Religion. In addition to his work with the seniors, Winston serves as an elder and does pastoral counseling.
Steve Ewart, Ministry Support/Involvement & Administration
Steve serves the church by helping to create and maintain an envoronment and system where leaders and members are connected, equipped, and rewarded for effective ministry according to their gifts and passions in order to serve the Lord and advance His mission for the Church. Steve comes to us from the Jonesboro Public School System where his extensive list of responsibilities in dealing with individuals as well as administrative issues has well prepared him to serve our Church Family. Steve has also been very active in our community and is always eager to serve where needed.
Chris Harrell, Youth
Chris serves as the youth ministry team leader with an emphasis in ministry to teenage guys.
Abbey Jackson, Youth
Abbey serves on the youth ministry team with an emphasis in ministry to teenage girls.
Travis Eades, Worship
Travis became a part of the Southwest Ministry Team May 5, 2002. He is our primary Worship Leader and Coordinator.
Joe James, Children's Ministry
Joe joined the Southwest staff April 26, 2004 as our first Children's Minister.
Brad Shumpert, College/Young Adult Ministry
Brad joined the Southwest staff in July of 2006 as our College/Young Adult Minister. Brad also leads "University Life", our ministry to the campus of Arkansas State University.

SUPPORT STAFF
Pam Burton
Pam joined the office staff on a part-time basis in 1998. She serves as the primary receptionist and works with the Youth Ministry, Seniors' Ministry, and "We Care."
Dana Jones
Dana joined the office staff in May of 2001 as an administrative assistant to Jimmy Adcox and is the church Bookkeeper.
Ranae Walton
Ranae joined the office staff in January of 2002. Her duties include Membership Ministry Assistant, receptionist, and general office tasks.
Mealeta Fuchs, Better Life Center
Mealeta joined the custodial staff in 1994. She now serves as the volunteer coordinator for the Better Life Center.
Junior Veteto, Custodial Supervisor
Junior joined the custodial staff in 2000. He supervises our full-time and temporary custodial staff which is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of Southwest's buildings and grounds.
Marilyn Thomas, Custodial
Marilyn joined the custodial staff in 2002. Marilyn works very hard to keep our massive building clean.
Jacob Reynolds
Jacob joined the office staff in October 2007 as a temporary communications assistant. He works to produce bulletins and similar publications and also is in charge of updating the Southwest website.
