Denton Kernodle Denton has served Southwest as a elder since 1983. He is employed with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
Winston Burton Winston has served as an elder since 1992. He also serves as Southwest's Classic Seniors Minister and provides pastoral counseling.
James Mooneyham James has served as an elder since 1992. He is a retired computer analyst.
Jack Sharp Jack has served on the Southwest eldership since 1992. He is a Financial Planner and the President of Sharp & Associates.
Burr Swann Burr has served as an elder since 1994. He is retired from the USDA Soil Conservation Division of the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. He now works part-time as a consultant in soil & water issues and does project development.
Gary R. James Gary has served as an elder at Southwest since 1996. He is a retired engineer from McDonnell-Douglas.
Ray Winters Ray has also served as an elder since 1996. He is a college professor at the College of Nursing at Arkansas State University.
Gerald Felts Gerald was appointed to the eldership in 1999. He is currently retired.
Frank Oldham Frank was added to the eldership in 1999. He is the President and CEO of American State Bank.
Steve Woodruff Steve has served as an elder since 2002. He is a physician. Aquilla Fuchs Quill has served the Southwest congregation as an elder since 2002. He is a retired teacher.
Charles Griffin Charles has served as an elder since 2002. He works for St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in the purchasing department.
Grant McDaniel Grant has served as an elder since 2002. He is employed by City Water & Light.
Bill Ennis Bill was added to the eldership in 2005. He is the Physical Education Teacher for grades 3-6 at Corning. Bill & Paula have two grown daughters, Jada Handwork of Jonesboro and Jennifer Haney of Ohio. In his free time, Bill enjoys fishing and working in the yard.
Larry Henderson Larry was added to the eldership in 2005. He is a farmer in Truman and grows cotton, soybeans, grain sorghum, and corn. Larry has been married to Georgia Anne for 30 years and they have 2 grown children, Brant & Shannon.
Bryan Huber Bryan was added to the eldership in 2005. He is a farmer in the Weiner area. He and Marsha have been at Southwest for 9 years and have two daughters, Laura & Lisa. Bryan has been active at Southwest in the Newcomer Outreach Ministry.
Bob Rahrle Bob rejoined the Southwest eldership in 2005. He is the Technology Director for the Brookland Public Schools, for whom he has worked for 32 years. Bob is married to Lin and they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren who light up their lives. Bob has been a member at Southwest since 1981 and has served as a deacon and as an elder for 8 years. Bob enjoys teaching Bible classes and traveling with his lovely wife, Lin.
Carl Woodham Carl was added to the Southwest eldership in 2005. He and his wife, Joyce have been married for 40 years and have two sons, Carl Jr. & Warren. Carl is the Southern Regional Claims Supervisor for the ASI Crop Insurance Company.
Scot Woodruff Scot was added to the eldership in 2005. He is the plant controller for Quebecor World-Jonesboro. Scot and his wife Klugh have 2 sons, Ben & Clark.
