Youth FOCUS

Our picnic was a huge success this past week.  Thank you so much to the hospitality crew and the Connect and Serve committee for planning this.  We truly are appreciative.  As the school year wraps up, we have some upcoming dates to remind you of.

 

Don’t forget that Senior Sunday is May 4^th.  Students will be recognized in second service, as well as the banquet at 5:30pm that night.  JUNIORS (AND PARENTS):  You are serving that night.  You will be responsible for cooking the food, decorating the gym, and serving the families.  Be looking in the mail for more information.  If you have any questions, call Cindy Dean. 

 

We will be in Oasis on April 30^th and May 7^th.  We will be back upstairs in Teen Worship starting May 14^th with finger foods galore.

 

In no time, our interns will be joining our team.  We hope that many members from the congregation will welcome them into their homes, invite them to dinner, and just give them a good ole’ Southwest welcome!  We are excited to see how God will use unique gifts and talents for His kingdom. 

 

On Sunday, June 1^st, we will have our All Huddle Picnic.  Meet at 5:45pm under the pines.  Our new teenagers, the new 7^th graders, will also be joining us.  This will be their first official youth group activity, so let’s welcome them in a big way!

 

Don’t forget our Community Day Camp at Country Garden Apartments this summer.  It will be held on June 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th.  If you participate two of the three days, you will then be able to go to our St. Louis Six Flags trip on June 5-6.  Get ready for sign ups. 

 

Time and time again, we see God working in the lives of our teenagers.  We are so very proud of who they are and who they represent.  We see them desperately craving rhythm with God.  We love you, teens!
